School ERP

School ERP for Indian schools

See your whole school before morning assembly.

Fees on UPI, with receipts on WhatsApp. Attendance marked on the teacher's phone. Report cards for CBSE, ICSE and State Boards. And all of it on one screen for the principal.

Free setup and Excel data import. Published prices. No long-term lock-in.

Sample data from a fictional school, Noyyal Vidyalaya, Coimbatore.

Fees

Fee day, before and after

Parents see the full bill in the parent app and can pay from home. Your counter still takes cash and cheques, and every rupee lands in the same register.

  • Before: A queue at the fee counter from 8 am

With School ERP: Parents can pay from home, in the parent app

  • Before: Handwritten receipts that go missing

With School ERP: A numbered receipt for every payment, with the full breakdown, in the parent app

  • Before: Evenings spent phoning parents about dues

With School ERP: A defaulter list that updates itself, and one reminder to all

  • Before: Adding up the cash book at closing time

With School ERP: Today's UPI, cash and cheque totals, already added up

Sample fee receipt, as the parent opens it in the parent app.

One counter for every way of paying

The accountant collects every fee on one screen, whatever way the parent pays.

  • Cash
  • UPI QR for the exact amount
  • Cheque
  • Card
  • Bank transfer
  • Instalments and late fees, the way your school charges them
  • Concessions like sibling 10% or staff ward 50%. Above ₹2,000 or 10% of the bill, the principal approves first
  • A cheque register: deposited, cleared or bounced. A bounced cheque reverts its receipt
  • A wrong receipt is reverted with a reason, and the dues come back
  • The day closes with a cash count. After that, its receipts are locked
  • Every receipt has a number, like NVS/FR/26-27/00412. The parent gets it by SMS or WhatsApp when the school turns this on and has message credits

Attendance

Attendance in 2 minutes per class

Everyone starts as present. The teacher taps the few who are absent or on leave, and submits. Parents of absent children hear about it the same morning, not at the next PTM.

2 of 20

students the teacher actually taps in Class VII-B today. The other 18 start as present, or on approved leave.

  • Daily or period-wise, on any Android phone
  • Leave requests from parents show up on the register
  • Keeps working when the network drops, and syncs later
  • Monthly totals and low-attendance lists without a calculator
Sample attendance screen on a teacher's phone, Class VII-B.

Exams and report cards

Report cards without the weekend

Teachers enter marks once. Totals, grades and ranks follow your board's scheme, and the whole class's report cards are ready as PDFs the same day.

  1. 1

    Marks in

Subject teachers enter marks for their own classes, on the phone or a laptop. You see what is still pending.

  2. 2

    Grades out

Totals, grades and ranks are worked out on your scheme: CBSE, ICSE or your State Board.

  3. 3

    Shared with parents

Print them, or publish them to the parent app at a date and time you choose.

Sample quarterly progress report for a fictional student.

Parents

Parents stay informed on WhatsApp

Receipts, absence alerts, circulars and PTM slots go out as official WhatsApp messages with your school’s name. No more forwarding the same notice to twenty class groups.

  • Send to the whole school, one class or one bus route
  • See who has received and read each circular
  • The same notices are in the parent app too
  • SMS as a backup for parents without WhatsApp

About ₹5 in WhatsApp charges to remind all 30 parents with fees due.

Based on utility-message rates of about ₹0.14 to ₹0.16 each from Indian WhatsApp providers (AiSensy, Interakt), September 2026.

Sample WhatsApp messages from a fictional school.

Apps

Three apps, five languages

Parents, teachers and bus drivers each get their own Android app. Each person picks English, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi or Marathi, and the app changes at once.

Parent app
Fees and receipts, homework, attendance and leave, the bus, exam results and messages from the school.
Staff app
Class attendance that keeps working with no signal, marks entry, homework, leave and payslips.
Driver app
Today's trips, handing each child to an adult at the stop, delay reports to parents, and SOS.
  • Names, subjects and the school's notices stay as the school wrote them. They are not translated.
  • The translations are new and are being checked by native speakers.
  • The apps run on Android phones. They are not in the Play Store yet.

Transport

The school bus, live on two phones

During each trip, the driver's phone sends the bus's position. Parents see where their child's bus is, and the office sees every bus.

  • Parents see the bus on a map, and about when it will reach their stop
  • At the stop, the driver hands each child to a named adult, and the parent is told in the app
  • The driver's delay report reaches the parents on the route, each in their own app language
  • Hold SOS for 2 seconds and the transport desk gets the bus’s location
  • It runs on the driver's Android phone. A GPS tracker is optional
  • The office sees every bus on one map: running, late, no signal or SOS

Parents get a push alert only if the school has push switched on. Otherwise the news waits in the app.

Questions principals ask us

Something else on your mind? WhatsApp us and a real person will reply.

How long does it take to go live?

Most schools can go live in about two weeks. Send us your student list, fee structure and staff list in Excel. We import them, set up your classes and receipts, and train your team. Moving from another ERP? We can import its Excel or CSV export.

Does it work for CBSE, ICSE and State Board schools?

Yes. Grading schemes and report-card layouts are set up for your board and classes, including CBSE’s two Class X board exams and the three-language subject mapping from 2026-27.

Can parents pay fees by UPI? Who pays the gateway charges?

Parents can pay in the parent app by UPI, card or net banking through your school's payment gateway. Your counter takes cash, UPI QR, cheques, cards and bank transfers. Your school decides whether to absorb the gateway fee or add it to the bill as a convenience fee.

What do the WhatsApp messages cost?

Receipt texts, absence alerts and reminders go out as WhatsApp template messages, only the ones your school switches on. Indian providers charge about ₹0.14 to ₹0.16 for each such message, so a reminder to 30 parents costs about ₹5. We pass this on at cost.

Will it work on slow or patchy internet?

Yes. The screens are light enough for a basic Android phone on 4G. Attendance is saved on the phone if the network drops, and syncs when it comes back.

Which languages does it support?

The school office works in English. The parent, staff and driver apps are in English, Tamil, Malayalam, Hindi and Marathi, and each person picks their own language in the app. Notices and messages are sent as the school writes them; they are not translated automatically.

Who owns our school’s data, and is it safe?

Your school does. Staff only see what their role allows, every change is logged, and data is backed up daily. You can export everything to Excel at any time. We never sell data or show ads to parents or students.

Can it help with UDISE+ and APAAR?

It helps you prepare. It tracks PEN and APAAR status for every student, sends consent requests to parents on WhatsApp and lists missing UDISE+ fields. It is not an official government integration, so you still submit on the government portals.
